We look forward to hearing from you!This is a large impact role that demands someone who can excel in a fast paced and ever changing environment.SASE EngineerLATAMRate: USD 25-28/hr ( DOE)Role Description:The SASE Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the global network and security edge infrastructure, with an emphasis on cloud-native architecture and zero trust principles. This role blends traditional networking expertise with modern security frameworks to deliver seamless, scalable, and secure connectivity across the enterprise. This position is part of the IT Global Infrastructure & Operations team and is based in Sunnyvale, California.Job Experience Requirements:Essential requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.3+ years of experience in network engineering, with demonstrated expertise in Cisco networking technologies and a strong understanding of cloud-based security solutions.Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, identity-based access control, cloud security platforms, and enterprise network monitoring tools.Job Responsibilities:In this role, you will:Design, deploy, and maintain a cloud-first SASE architecture integrating SD-WAN, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Firewall-as- a-Service (FWaaS) solutions.Collaborate closely with business units to identify network and security pain points and implement forward-thinking solutions leveraging the SASE framework.Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues across edge locations, remote users, and cloud applications.Monitor and optimize network and security performance using integrated tools for visibility and control across all endpoints.Implement zero trust network access (ZTNA) strategies, including granular identity- based access control and network segmentation.Partner with ISPs and cloud providers to ensure resilient and secure connectivity across global sites and users.MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
